About Boilers Rotherham
Boilers Rotherham is a boiler installation and heating business built around one idea: do the job properly the first time and explain it honestly, because in this trade that is rarer than it should be. We are Gas Safe registered heating engineers working across Rotherham and the surrounding towns, and most of our work comes from households who were let down somewhere before they found us.
Who We Are
We install, replace, repair and service gas boilers across the whole borough, from the terraces of the town centre out to Maltby, Wickersley, Dinnington, Rawmarsh and Brinsworth. Rotherham is a steel town, and its housing tells that story: colliery terraces, interwar and post war semis, back boilers behind living room fires, and heating systems that have been altered and extended by a dozen different hands over forty years. We know that housing because we work in it every week, and it shapes how we approach every job.
How We Work
Three things run through everything we do.
We survey before we quote. A price over the phone is a guess, and a guess that becomes extras on the day is how a cheap quote turns into an expensive job. We measure your flow rate, check the gas supply and flue, look at the state of the system water and give you a fixed written price with every element itemised.
We clean the system. Most older Rotherham heating circuits are full of magnetite sludge, and the water here is soft, so it is corrosion rather than scale that does the damage. Fitting a new boiler onto a dirty system without a proper clean and a magnetic filter voids the manufacturer warranty and shortens the life of the appliance. We do not skip it to make a headline look keener, and we will tell you plainly when a competing quote has.
We tell you the truth about what you need. If your boiler is worth repairing rather than replacing, we say so and quote the repair. If a combi is the wrong product for your house, we recommend the system boiler you actually need instead of fitting the cheaper thing and letting you discover the problem in February. And we do not invent faults at the end of a service. If you have been burned by that before, it is a fair thing to ask us about directly.
What Sets Us Apart
The heating trade has a trust problem, and we know exactly where it comes from: quotes you cannot compare, work you cannot see, and a bill at the end that does not match the conversation at the start.
